Lotte Card Nominates Former Executive Vice President Jung Sangho as New CEO Candidate
To Be Appointed at General Shareholders' Meeting and Board of Directors' Meeting on March 12
On the 25th, Lotte Card announced that it held a CEO Candidate Recommendation Committee meeting and recommended former Lotte Card Executive Vice President Jung Sangho as the next CEO and President.
Jung is scheduled to be finally appointed through the general shareholders' meeting and board of directors' meeting to be held on March 12.
Born in 1963, Jung served as Head of SME Business at Hyundai Card and Head of Strategic Sales Division at Samsung Card, and from 2020 to 2023 he served as Head of Card Business Division and Head of Sales Division at Lotte Card.
A Lotte Card official explained, "Jung has successful experience in areas such as sales and marketing, based on his deep understanding of the credit card business," adding, "We expect him to present the future growth direction of Lotte Card and lead a recovery in profitability."
