Home & Shopping to Provide Total of 600 Million Won to 74 Partner Companies Through Performance-Sharing Program This Year
Focus on Alleviating Partner Losses
Home & Shopping announced on the 24th that it will implement a performance-sharing program worth a total of 600 million won this year to support small and medium-sized partner companies that are struggling due to the economic slowdown and weakened consumer spending. The performance-sharing program is a mutual growth scheme that goes beyond simply sharing profits with partners that post strong results, and instead focuses on alleviating the losses of partner companies that face management burdens because their sales performance on broadcasts falls short of expectations.
Home & Shopping plans to provide support this year to a total of 74 partner companies. Home & Shopping has been running the performance-sharing program since 2013, when it began generating substantial profits following its launch in 2012. Through this initiative, the company has so far provided a cumulative 7.3 billion won in support funds to 780 small and medium-sized partner companies, helping to create a stable business environment for them and strengthen their competitiveness.
