"265 Works Carrying On Tradition"... Korea Traditional Craft and Architecture School Graduation Exhibition
Exhibition at the National Intangible Heritage Education Center until March 6
The National Heritage Center will hold the "2025 Korea Traditional Craft and Architecture School Graduation Exhibition" at the National Intangible Heritage Education Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from February 24 to March 6.
The exhibition will showcase the skills that graduates have honed over the past year. A total of 265 works that embody both the present and the potential of traditional crafts will be on display.
Marking its 31st anniversary this year, the school involves National Intangible Cultural Heritage holders and transmitters directly in its education programs. In 2025 alone, it produced 728 graduates, playing a key role in passing down traditional techniques and fostering talent.
The exhibition space is divided into "Gyeol" on the second floor and "Ol" on the third floor. The former presents lacquer, metal, wood, and chaehwa crafts, while the latter features textile crafts such as knotting, needlework, and embroidery. An archive space that brings together past catalogues will also present the educational footprint built up over more than 30 years.
Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and admission is free.
