Main blaze brought under control in about an hour after fire broke out

At around 1:19 p.m. on the 14th, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, a fire broke out at a sauna facility inside the Hannam The Hill apartment complex in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Fire authorities, dispatched after receiving a report, rescued five people who were in the building, and residents from 40 households were urgently evacuated. There were no casualties.
Fire authorities mobilized 105 personnel and 27 vehicles and brought the main blaze under control at around 2:40 p.m., about an hour after the fire started.
The police and fire authorities plan to investigate the cause of the fire once it is completely extinguished.

The Yongsan District Office sent out an emergency safety text message, stating, "A large amount of harmful smoke has occurred due to a fire at 810 Hannam-dong," and urging, "Residents in the vicinity should be careful to avoid respiratory illnesses caused by the smoke."
