Goheung County in South Jeolla Province announced that its "Goheung Tourist Taxi," which is currently in operation, is gaining positive responses as a customized tourism service that helps tourists move around conveniently.
The "Goheung Tourist Taxi" is a customized tourism service that allows tourists to efficiently visit major tourist attractions in Goheung together with a professional driver, according to their preferred schedule. It reduces the transportation burden for small groups and individual travelers and helps them travel more conveniently throughout Goheung.
In particular, while the service is based on recommended routes, users can freely organize their itineraries focusing on the attractions they wish to visit. The vehicle waits during sightseeing time, which improves mobility and convenience.
Currently, the Goheung Tourist Taxi operates various routes centered on representative attractions of Goheung, such as the Buncheong Ceramic Museum, Sorokdo Island, Naro Space Center Space Science Museum, Space Launch Observatory, Ssukseom Island, and Geogeum Bridge. Schedules can be adjusted according to the purpose of travel and length of stay.
The fare is 60,000 won for 3 hours, and an additional 10,000 won is charged for every 30 minutes beyond that. Waiting time during sightseeing is included in the usage time, and admission fees and facility usage fees are charged separately. Reservations can be made through the Goheung Tourism website.
