Six C-Level Executives Including Naver CEO Choi Suyeon Purchase 700 Million Won in Company Shares
Naver announced in a disclosure on the 11th that six C-level executives, including CEO Choi Suyeon, purchased 700 million won worth of the company’s shares on the open market. C-level refers to executives who hold the highest decision-making authority in a company.

View original imageOn the 9th, CEO Choi purchased 786 shares of the company’s stock worth 200 million won. Including this transaction, she has bought approximately 700 million won worth of Naver shares since taking office. Her total shareholding now stands at 11,874 shares.
Five other executives — Chief Data Officer (CDO) Kim Gwanghyun, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Kim Beomjun, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Kim Heecheol, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Yoo Bongseok, and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Hwang Soonbae — each purchased 100 million won worth of Naver shares on the same day.

In its fourth-quarter earnings announcement last year, Naver unveiled a new shareholder return policy that includes buying back and canceling treasury shares and paying cash dividends. Naver stated that on the 1st it revamped its C-level leadership structure, and that it plans to further strengthen its social responsibility while responding to the rapidly changing global environment in areas such as AI agents, physical AI, and Web3.
