Orion Group Significantly Expands Dividends for "Orion" and "Orion Holdings"
Orion, 40% increase from last year... 3,500 won dividend
Orion Holdings, 37% increase... 1,100 won dividend
Orion Group will significantly strengthen its shareholder return policy to enhance shareholder value.
Orion Group announced that at the board of directors meeting held on the 11th, it resolved to pay cash dividends for Orion, the operating company, and Orion Holdings, the holding company.
The operating company Orion decided to increase its dividend per share by 40%, from 2,500 won last year to 3,500 won this year. The total dividend amounts to 138.4 billion won.
The holding company Orion Holdings finalized its dividend per share at 1,100 won, up 37% from 800 won last year. The total dividend amounts to 66.2 billion won. Orion Holdings' dividend yield based on market price reaches 5%, which is higher than prevailing interest rates. Orion Group's total dividend payout amounts to 204.6 billion won, an increase of 57.7 billion won from last year.
Orion Group has also met the requirements to be classified as a high-dividend company eligible for separate taxation on dividend income, a scheme introduced by the government in January this year to revitalize the capital market.
On a consolidated basis, Orion's payout ratio rose by 10 percentage points from 26% last year to 36%, while Orion Holdings' payout ratio increased by 25 percentage points from 30% last year to 55%.
The shareholders' meetings of Orion and Orion Holdings will be held on March 26, and the record date for dividends for both companies will be March 31.
In its corporate value enhancement plan disclosed in June last year, Orion announced a strengthened shareholder return policy, including implementing a dividend policy with a payout ratio of at least 20%, gradually increasing the payout ratio over the next three years, and reviewing the introduction of interim dividends.

Driven by its global business, Orion posted consolidated sales of 3.3324 trillion won in 2024, up 7.3%, and operating profit of 558.2 billion won, up 2.7% from the previous year.
