It reduces power consumption by 35% compared to previous models and is equipped with a variety of artificial intelligence (AI) functions. It is the world's first fanless ultrasound diagnostic system that delivers both high-performance computing and stable thermal control without a cooling fan. Because there is no cooling fan, outside air and dust do not enter the system, resulting in a long expected lifespan and a zero dB examination environment with no fan noise.
EVO Q10, developed to enhance the portability of V4, is a laptop-type system targeting the point-of-care (PoC) market. In addition to high resolution and a wide range of AI functions, it dramatically improves usability and portability, making it suitable for emergency, outpatient, and mobile clinical environments. Its lightweight and robust design enhances durability, while minimizing protruding elements on the touchscreen and control panel and obtaining IP22 water-resistance certification to improve ease of disinfection and maintenance.
At the launch event for V4 and EVO Q10, Samsung will showcase AI diagnostic assistance features such as EVO Q10's screen mirroring function, which displays the touch area in real time, and Heart Assist, which automatically recognizes the heart to support measurement and diagnosis. Samsung will also present innovations in X-ray technology through GC85 Vision+, which reduces radiation dose while improving examination efficiency, and GM85, which has been enhanced with a function that verifies the imaging area in real time. The company will also unveil the F3025-AW, a glass-free detector that combines high resolution and high performance with a lightweight design of 1.5 kg.
On the third day of the event, the Samsung AI Symposium will be held. Professor Vito Cantisani, Vice Dean and Professor of Radiology at Sapienza University of Rome, will share clinical use cases of Samsung's AI diagnostic assistance features in liver and abdominal diagnosis, and world-renowned obstetrician and gynecologist Professor Hisham Mirghani is scheduled to demonstrate a live scan using the premium ultrasound diagnostic system HERA Z20.
Meanwhile, during the exhibition period, Samsung plans to seek business opportunities with local hospitals, government agencies, local partners, and distributors, led by the newly established Middle East regional office for medical devices, which was set up in the second half of last year.
