Hankook Tire Selected No. 1 in "Korea’s Most Admired Companies" for 17 Consecutive Years
Proving Technological Prowess by Supplying Tires for 300 Vehicle Models
Hankook Tire & Technology, the tire company of Hankook & Company Group, has been selected as No. 1 in the domestic tire industry sector for the 17th consecutive year in the "2026 Korea’s Most Admired Companies" survey, hosted by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).
In this survey, Hankook Tire ranked first by earning high scores across the six core value categories, including innovation capability, shareholder value, customer value, and employee value. In addition, the company received high marks for leading innovation in the domestic tire industry based on its outstanding product competitiveness, management capabilities, and stable financial soundness, as well as for practicing top-tier sustainable management.
Last year, Hankook Tire significantly strengthened its leading position in the global market by further expanding brand partnerships with Porsche, BMW, Xiaomi, Lucid Motors, and others. It currently supplies original equipment tires for about 300 vehicle models from more than 40 brands, demonstrating its global top-tier technological prowess and impeccable quality competitiveness.
At the same time, its "iON," the world’s first full-lineup tire brand dedicated to electric vehicles, has established itself as a leading global EV tire brand. While expanding premium brand partnerships, the company is also responding to diverse customer needs by offering more than 300 specifications ranging from 16 inches to 22 inches. Last year, it achieved top-tier results in performance comparison tests and awards conducted by Germany’s "Auto Bild" and the UK’s "WhatTyre."
The company is also striving to enhance customer touchpoints and elevate brand value through a premium growth strategy leveraging sports sponsorships. It has newly signed partnerships with prestigious football clubs and is focusing on securing brand competitiveness on the global stage.
Hankook Tire has also achieved meaningful results in the field of sustainable management, proving its top-level ESG management capabilities. Last year, Hankook Tire’s Daejeon Plant obtained ISCC PLUS certification, a global international certification scheme for eco-friendly materials.

Meanwhile, the "Korea’s Most Admired Companies" survey, now in its 23rd year, was evaluated based on online and offline questionnaires conducted from September to October 2025, with the participation of more than about 10,000 respondents, including industry professionals, securities firm analysts, and general consumers.
