According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 4th, Gwangju and South Jeolla on the 5th will be mostly cloudy, with less than 0.1 millimeters of light raindrops expected along the South Jeolla coast between early morning and late morning.
Temperatures that day are expected to be higher than the seasonal averages (morning lows of minus 6 to minus 1 degrees, afternoon highs of 5 to 8 degrees). Morning lows will range from minus 1 to 3 degrees, and afternoon highs will range from 9 to 15 degrees.
In particular, the temperature difference between day and night will widen significantly to around 10 to 15 degrees, so people should take care of their health, the meteorological agency official explained.
The mild weather is not expected to last long. As cold air flows in from the north from the afternoon of the 5th, the morning low on the 6th is forecast to drop by about 5 degrees compared with the previous day.
On the 6th, morning lows will range from minus 6 to plus 1 degree, and afternoon highs will range from 1 to 8 degrees, which will be similar to or lower than the seasonal averages. Strong winds are also expected to blow, making the perceived temperature even lower.

An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "It will remain milder than usual until tomorrow, but from the day after tomorrow the temperature will drop sharply and it will become windy," urging, "Please pay special attention to your health, including potential weakened immunity, due to the sudden temperature changes."
