Dongducheon-si in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 4th that it is conducting safety inspections of outdoor advertisements for six days from the 3rd to the 8th as a precaution against storm and flood damage.
This inspection targets outdoor advertisements such as pole signs, wall-mounted signs, and projecting signs installed on stores in the new town area, where many shops are concentrated, and in the old town area, where many buildings are aging. Based on the inspection results, the city plans to take necessary measures, including removal, for any advertisements found to have significantly low safety levels.
