LH Launches Online System for Preliminary Approval of Inter-Floor Noise Reduction
Online Application Function for Approvals Now Available
Additional Function to Prevent Forgery and Alteration of Certificates
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 4th that it has built an online system within the Government for Business (G4B) integrated administrative portal, enabling all preliminary approval work for inter-floor noise reduction materials to be handled online in a single process.
LH carries out preliminary approval work by testing materials developed to reduce inter-floor noise in Korea and assigning grades from Grade 1 to Grade 4. It handles about 50 new approvals and related work per year, and the number of cases approved through this process stands at 133.
LH established the online system to improve the convenience and efficiency of preliminary approval work, which had previously been conducted offline through the submission of paper documents. Going forward, all procedures, including application receipt, approval processing, and issuance of test reports and approval certificates, can be carried out online without submitting separate paper documents. Functions to prevent forgery and alteration of approval certificates and to verify their authenticity have also been added, enhancing transparency and credibility.
