Doosan Group Donates 1 Billion Won to Baboeui Nanum for Family Caregiving Children and Adolescents

Doosan Group announced on the 4th that it had donated 1 billion won to the Baboeui Nanum Foundation.
The donation ceremony was held on the 3rd at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul, and was attended by Park Jiwon, Vice Chairman of Doosan Group, and Bishop Gu Yobi, who serves as Chairperson of Baboeui Nanum.

View original imageBaboeui Nanum is a private fundraising organization established in 2010 to carry on the spirit of love and sharing of the late Cardinal Kim Suhwan. Doosan Group has been donating to Baboeui Nanum every year since 2012.
Part of the donation delivered this time will be used to support "family caregiving children and adolescents" who act as breadwinners while caring for their family members, until they reach adulthood. Since 2022, Doosan has been providing support to households with children and adolescents living with parents, grandparents, or single parents who are ill or have disabilities, including care and medical expenses, creation of learning environments, and renovation of residential spaces.

In addition, the donation will be used to support the operation of various social welfare facilities and to fund medical volunteer activities in underdeveloped countries.
