Gyeonggi Province Recruiting Participants for Startup Competition "G-Star Audition" Until March 12
Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for the "2026 Gyeonggi Startup Competition (G-Star Audition) Preliminary and Early-stage League" until March 12.
The Preliminary and Early-stage League of the Gyeonggi Startup Competition is a startup contest for prospective entrepreneurs residing in Gyeonggi Province and companies established within the last three years in the province. It discovers entrepreneurs with outstanding startup items and supports them with commercialization funds and opportunities for global expansion.
Starting this year, Gyeonggi Province will expand the competition to two leagues per year to provide more participation opportunities for (prospective) entrepreneurs in the province.
The "Preliminary and Early-stage League" will be held in the first half of the year, and the "Leap League" for prospective entrepreneurs and companies established within the last seven years will be held in the second half.
Participants may apply to multiple leagues of their choice. Detailed information on the Leap League will be announced separately in June.
The competition will proceed in the following order: preliminaries (document screening), semifinals (presentation evaluation), and finals (on-site public presentations). Based on the final results, three teams (companies) will be selected and awarded a total of 20 million won in prize money and certificates.
Teams that advance to the finals will receive benefits such as expert mentoring (accelerating) and priority allocation of booths at the global startup fair "Gyeonggi Startup Summit." The final prize-winning teams will also be given additional follow-up support, including preferential admission to startup incubation facilities and promotional support through social networking services (SNS).
Through this competition, Gyeonggi Province aims to discover promising companies with innovative startup items and to enhance the competitiveness of startups in the province by providing capacity-building programs and linking them with the Gyeonggi Startup Summit.
