Gyeonggi Education Office to Restructure 20 Aging Schools with 480.8 Billion Won Investment
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will implement spatial restructuring projects at 20 schools this year.
The office announced on February 3 that, following an internal review, it has selected 10 elementary schools, 5 middle schools, and 5 high schools as the targets for this year's Gyeonggi-type spatial restructuring project.
The office plans to invest 480.8 billion won in the selected schools to carry out the spatial restructuring project through 2030.
The spatial restructuring project aims to transform schools with buildings over 40 years old into advanced, eco-friendly, and digital-based spaces, supporting a variety of future-oriented teaching and learning methods.
