Yongsan District Holds "Lunar New Year Reimbursement" Event for Shoppers at Yongmun, Huam, and Ichon Traditional Markets
Up to 20,000 Won Reimbursement at Three Markets Based on Purchase Amount
Yongsan District in Seoul (Mayor Heeyoung Park) will hold an Onnuri gift certificate reimbursement event at local traditional markets ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday. The event aims to ease residents' shopping burden and promote consumption at traditional markets and local businesses.

Depending on the purchase amount, shoppers will be reimbursed with Onnuri gift certificates (or currency usable within the market).
At Yongsan Yongmun Market, on February 9, customers who make purchases of 20,000 won or more will receive a 5,000-won "Yongyongi currency" voucher usable at market stores, and those who spend 40,000 won or more will receive two 5,000-won vouchers (a total of 10,000 won).
At Huam Market, from February 11 to 12, customers who spend 35,000 won or more will receive 10,000 won in Onnuri gift certificates, while those who spend 70,000 won or more will receive 20,000 won. At Ichon General Market, during the event from February 14 to 16, customers who spend 70,000 won or more will be reimbursed with 10,000 won in Onnuri gift certificates.
Yongsan District will also participate in a government (central ministry) reimbursement event at Yongsan Yongmun Market. For purchases of agricultural, livestock, and marine products, customers who spend between 34,000 won and less than 67,000 won will receive 10,000 won in Onnuri gift certificates, and those who spend 67,000 won or more will receive 20,000 won.
To ensure that residents can use traditional markets safely during the holiday, Yongsan District will conduct safety inspections-covering electricity, gas, construction, and fire safety-at six local traditional markets from February 2 to 3. To revitalize alley-type shopping districts, the district will hold "Staff Traditional Market and Alley-Type Shopping District Visit Days" from February 10 to 12, with participation from all district office departments, community centers, and the Yongsan District Facilities Management Corporation.
