Seogu District has added services to facilitate use by people with disabilities at unmanned book lending and returning machines installed at a total of 10 locations, including district libraries such as Sangnok Library, Children's Ecological Learning Library, Seobitmaru Library, and Forest of Culture Library, as well as smart libraries.
The district has equipped the unmanned book lending and returning machines with features such as a braille keypad, voice guidance, a touchscreen and physical operation buttons, and large print magnification, enabling not only people with disabilities but also those with low vision and seniors to use library services more intuitively.
Seogu District plans to continue creating an environment where people with disabilities and information-vulnerable groups can easily use libraries in their daily lives by simultaneously improving facilities and operating customized programs.
