In South Korea, users can now access Google's generative artificial intelligence (AI) services, including Gemini 3 Pro, for a monthly fee of 11,000 won. This move is seen as a response to OpenAI's launch of the 'ChatGPT Go' subscription plan, which allows users to access ChatGPT at an affordable price.

View original imageThe Google AI Plus subscription plan provides access to a variety of Google's generative AI features, including Gemini 3 Pro, which is Gemini's inference model, the image generation AI 'Nano Banana Pro', the AI-powered video creation tool 'Flow', and the research and writing support tool 'NotebookLM'.
Users can also utilize Gemini features integrated into Google services such as Google Docs, Gmail, and video editing, and receive 200 AI credits per month for use in video production and other tasks. In addition, the plan includes 200GB of Google Drive storage as a standard feature.
The domestic price for Google AI Plus is set at 11,000 won per month, which is 18,000 won cheaper than the previous Google AI Pro plan. To celebrate the launch of this new subscription, Google is offering it to new subscribers at a 50% discounted rate of 5,500 won for the first two months. Existing 'Google One Premium' 2TB subscribers will automatically receive all the benefits of Google AI Plus without needing to apply separately.
Vikas Khansal, Group Product Manager for Google AI subscriptions, stated, "The purpose of this subscription plan is to provide users with powerful AI models and tools at a more reasonable price, enabling them to further enhance their productivity and creativity."
