Enhypen Tops Billboard 'Artist 100' Chart in the U.S. for the First Time
The group Enhypen has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 'Artist 100' chart in the United States, their agency Belieflab announced on January 28.
According to the latest chart (dated January 31) released by Billboard in the United States on January 27 (local time), Enhypen topped the 'Artist 100' for the first time since their debut. The ranking is determined by a comprehensive score based on digital music and album sales, streaming, and radio airplay.
Their recently released seventh mini album, 'THE SIN : VANISH', ranked No. 2 on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200'. This position was determined by a difference of just 1,000 copies in sales compared to American rapper A$AP Rocky's fourth studio album. Enhypen also took the top spot on the sub-charts 'Top Album Sales', 'Top Current Album Sales', and 'World Albums'.
The title track 'Knife' ranked No. 1 on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, No. 62 on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart, and No. 90 on the 'Global 200' chart. Billboard explained that the official streaming count for the tracks on 'THE SIN : VANISH' reached a total of 9.51 million during the charting period, setting a new record for the group.
Including this latest release, Enhypen has now placed a total of six albums consecutively within the top 10 of the 'Billboard 200'. Previously, their third mini album 'Manifesto : Day 1' reached No. 6, their fourth mini album 'Dark Blood' and fifth mini album 'Orange Blood' both reached No. 4, their second full-length album 'Romance : Untold' reached No. 2, and their sixth mini album 'Desire : Unleash' reached No. 3.
'THE SIN : VANISH' sold over 2.07 million copies in its first week, making it the group's fourth 'double million seller'. The album also topped major charts such as Japan's Line Music Weekly 'Album Top 100' and the Oricon Daily Album Ranking.
