With the government deciding to proceed with the construction of new nuclear power plants as planned, Korea Power Engineering Company is showing strong performance.

Kim Seonghwan, Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment, stated in a briefing the previous day, "We will push forward with the new nuclear power plant construction plans included in the 11th Basic Plan for Electricity Supply and Demand as scheduled."

Hana Securities said in a report released on this day, "The two new large-scale nuclear power plants will begin operation in 2037 and 2038, respectively," adding, "There is a possibility that additional nuclear power plants will be included in the upcoming 12th Basic Plan for Electricity Supply and Demand, so expectations for new nuclear projects remain valid."
