MOU Signed by Gyeongbuk Province, Yeongju City, and the Company
On January 23, Gyeongbuk Province and Yeongju City signed an investment memorandum of understanding with Korea Fine F&T Co., Ltd. at Yeongju City Hall for the establishment of a health functional food manufacturing plant.
Under this agreement, Korea Fine F&T plans to invest a total of 30 billion won in stages from 2026 to 2030 to establish a health functional food manufacturing plant in Punggi-eup, Yeongju City, and aims to create 200 local jobs.

View original imageIn particular, this investment is a case of a company relocating its headquarters and factory from Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province to Yeongju, and is expected to contribute to the advancement of the local industrial structure and the influx of population.
Korea Fine F&T, with the vision of "K-HEALTHY FOOD Responsible for the World's Health," is a rapidly growing company in the field of health functional food and food manufacturing and processing. The company develops and produces a variety of health functional foods, including highly concentrated probiotics, red ginseng-related products, vitamins, and omega-3 supplements.
In June 2025, the company demonstrated its product competitiveness by producing and supplying seven products, including three types of "Tangly" to Olive Young and four main products called "Berry Set," which were planned and produced in collaboration with CJ CheilJedang. Furthermore, in November of the same year, the "Lee Sunmin Gold" product sold through NS Home Shopping achieved a record of selling out for 25 consecutive rounds, earning high trust and recognition in the market.
Additionally, the company succeeded in distributing its albumin products, produced in collaboration with major domestic pharmaceutical companies such as Boryung Pharmaceutical, Kyungnam Pharmaceutical, and Samsung Pharmaceutical, through pharmacy distribution networks nationwide.
Gyeongbuk Province and Yeongju City expect that this investment will have a positive ripple effect on the regional economy, including the creation of a health functional food industry ecosystem, expansion of local employment, and the generation of related effects in the food, logistics, and distribution industries.
Geumhee Yang, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongbuk Province, stated, "This investment by Korea Fine F&T is a meaningful achievement, simultaneously realizing the relocation of a metropolitan company and the creation of quality jobs," and added, "Gyeongsangbuk-do will continue to spare no effort in attracting and supporting companies, focusing on future growth industries such as bio, food, and health."
The CEO of Korea Fine F&T said, "Among many candidate sites, the active support and cooperation of Gyeongsangbuk-do and Yeongju City were decisive factors in our investment decision," and added, "We will grow together with Gyeongsangbuk-do and Yeongju City to become a leading company in the new era of local development."
