Its goal is to review policies from the citizens' viewpoint, reflect on-site opinions in administration, and contribute to creating a gender-responsive city that citizens can truly feel.
The 5th Citizen Participation Group will be recruited publicly among those who reside in Changwon, with approximately 100 members expected to be selected. The appointment period will last for two years, from March 2026 to February 2028. Applications for the 5th Changwon Gender-Responsive City Citizen Participation Group can be submitted via email, mail, or in person. Further details can be found in the announcement on the Changwon City Hall website.
Since Changwon was first designated as a gender-responsive city in 2011 and then re-designated for the third time in 2025, the city has consistently promoted gender-responsive policies. In particular, it has focused on identifying tasks suited to local conditions and enhancing execution through public-private cooperation.
