Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province announced that it will accept applications and submissions for budget performance incentives from January 26 to February 20, targeting residents and public officials who contributed to budget savings and increased revenue for the 2025 fiscal year through improvements in budget execution methods and institutional reforms.

The amount awarded will be determined by the Budget Performance Incentive Committee after a comprehensive review of the applicant's contribution, the effectiveness of institutional improvements, voluntary efforts, and creativity. Incentives will be granted in tiers, ranging from 4 million to 10 million won depending on the grade, while rewards will be distributed from 1 million to 3 million won by grade.
The province plans to promote the program through its website, social media, and the press during the application and submission period to encourage broad participation.
