It will utilize rental taxis operated under an agreement with individual taxi operators in Uijeongbu City. Pregnant women who are officially registered residents and actually living in Uijeongbu will be eligible, and the service will support up to two intra-city rides per day. The service period will last from the date of pregnancy confirmation until the expected delivery date.
The fare is set at the same base rate as special transportation services, which is 1,700 KRW. For distances exceeding 10 kilometers, an additional 100 KRW will be charged for every 5 kilometers. Those wishing to register for the service must submit a consent form for personal information provision and use, a form of identification, a resident registration certificate, and documentation confirming the expected delivery date (such as a pregnancy confirmation certificate) to the Uijeongbu Urban Corporation Transportation Support Center. After submitting the documents, they must contact the Transportation Support Center’s Happiness Call Center to confirm their eligibility and then apply for vehicle dispatch.
Further details on the pregnant women transportation support service can be found on the websites of Uijeongbu City or Uijeongbu Urban Corporation. For additional inquiries, assistance is available through the Transportation Support Center’s Happiness Call Center.
