Suhyup Bank Publishes Risk Assessment Report "House View"
Key Monthly Insights on Major Financial Market Issues
Sh Suhyup Bank announced on December 26 that it has officially published its 'House View' in order to strengthen its bank-wide risk-based decision-making framework.
The 'House View', which will be published monthly, is the official analytical report of Suhyup Bank's Risk Management Group. It provides a comprehensive assessment of key risk factors across financial markets and the real economy, and forecasts future economic trends.
Notably, this report marks the full-scale application of the 'Macro Tracker', a recession probability prediction model developed by the Risk Management Group. The Macro Tracker was developed under the leadership of Suhyup Bank's Deputy President Yang Kitae. He previously served as an executive at S&P, one of the world's top three credit rating agencies, and at the global accounting firm EY.
The Macro Tracker analyzes major economic indicators based on the FRED database of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in the United States. It classifies economic phases into four stages: Stable, Caution, Crack, and Shock, and visualizes them in a dashboard format to enable early detection of abnormal risk signals.
Meanwhile, the House View will be used as a foundation for establishing Suhyup Bank's risk management standards. It will also continue to be provided as a reliable source of market insight for organizations seeking to reference its economic trend analysis.
