Gyeonggi Province Completes Repainting of Seven Aging Air Pollution Control Facilities
Gyeonggi Province has repainted seven aging air pollution control facilities within industrial complexes.
This project, which continued from last year, was supported by Gyeonggi Province covering 85 to 90 percent of the repainting costs. Samhwa Paints Industrial Co., Ltd. provided the paint free of charge, and the Ansan-Siheung Environmental Engineers Association participated as a supporting partner.
Through this initiative, Gyeonggi Province aims to alleviate the financial burden on small businesses that struggle to maintain air pollution control facilities due to budget constraints, improve the appearance of industrial complexes, and enhance the durability of air pollution control facilities, thereby contributing to better air quality.
Gyeonggi Province plans to continue the project in 2026 in response to the positive feedback from participating businesses.
