Wavve Unveils New Lineup Including "Bloody Game" Next Year
Next Year's Content Lineup Announced
New Variety and Documentary Shows Scheduled
The popular survival variety show "Bloody Game" is returning after two years.
On December 19, Wavve announced its new content lineup for next year, unveiling highly anticipated titles across various genres including variety shows, dramas, and documentaries.
"Bloody Game" is an original variety show that ranked No. 1 in combined TV and OTT buzz when its third season was released last year. By highlighting psychological warfare, betrayal, and the survival process among participants, it built a strong fan base. The new season, tentatively titled "Bloody Game X," will be released in June next year.
The survival variety show "Ideology Verification Zone: The Community," which explores conflicts of values such as politics, gender, and religion, will also return for its second season. In March next year, "Betting on Fact," a program that tracks the truth behind fake news, will air, featuring Jang Dongmin, Jin Joongkwon, and Jung Youngjin.
The queer dating show "His Man" has confirmed production for its fourth season, and "Stand By Me," Korea's first bisexual dating program, will also be released in the first half of the year.
The crime documentary lineup has also been strengthened. In January, "Read," a program that analyzes criminal psychology through handwritten letters from those involved in the cases, will be exclusively released. The production teams behind "Unanswered Questions" and "The Story That Bites Its Tail" participated in the project. In May, "Cult Hunter" (working title), which covers the murder case of Tak Myunghwan, will be released, and in July, the third season of "Tracking the Villain" will premiere.
