The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Global Headquarters (Head Son Changhwan) held a meeting with the hydrogen supply chain working group delegation from Tottori Prefecture, Japan, on the 16th in the large conference room on the first floor of the Global Headquarters. During the meeting, both sides shared their respective hydrogen industry policies and discussed ways to cooperate.

View original imageThe 'Hydrogen Supply Chain Working Group' consists of 30 hydrogen-related companies in Tottori Prefecture. This visiting delegation, led by Sasaki Toru, Director-General for Economic and Industrial Promotion of the Tottori Prefectural Department of Commerce and Labor, included 10 representatives from companies such as Tottori Gas, and visited the Gangwon Global Headquarters.
During the meeting, the delegation shared the operational structure and member company activities of the 'Hydrogen Supply Chain Working Group' in Tottori Prefecture. They also exchanged views on practical measures for business and policy-level exchanges and cooperation regarding the hydrogen industry, which is one of Gangwon Province’s seven key future strategic industries.
The Japanese delegation, aiming to observe Korea’s world-class hydrogen charging infrastructure-particularly in terms of the rapid adoption of hydrogen vehicles-visited the Samcheok hydrogen production facility, hydrogen charging stations, and the Hydrogen Town the following day. They also visited Gangwon Technopark to meet with local hydrogen company representatives. After completing this schedule, they plan to return to Japan via Donghae Port on the 18th.
