Shinhan Investment Corp.'s "Cheoeum ISA" Surpasses 10,000 Subscribers Seven Months After Launch
Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on December 17 that the number of subscribers to its "Cheoeum ISA" has surpassed 10,000 just seven months after its launch. Analysts say this reflects the strong interest of young customers in the Individual Savings Account (ISA) market.
Cheoeum ISA is an automatic repurchase agreement (RP) buy-sell service offered to Shinhan Premier intermediary-type ISA subscribers aged between 15 and 39. When there are idle funds in the account, the service automatically purchases exclusive RPs without any separate order, and when funds are needed for investment, it immediately sells the RPs, helping customers efficiently manage their idle cash.
According to the Korea Financial Investment Association, the number of intermediary-type ISA subscribers stands at 5.89 million and continues to grow. Shinhan Investment Corp. assessed that the convenience of automatically managing idle funds is a unique differentiator of the Shinhan Premier intermediary-type ISA, and is considered a key factor in enhancing customer satisfaction.
