The Disabled Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 16th that Deputy Director Kim Yongrak received the Presidential Citation in the Excellent Policy Planning and Execution category at the 27th Venture Startup Promotion Merit Awards Ceremony.

View original imageDeputy Director Kim was recognized for his contributions to strengthening national competitiveness, having played a key role in establishing a support system for venture companies led by people with disabilities-spanning from startup to growth and investment-during his 14 years at the Disabled Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center.
The Disabled Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center currently operates startup incubation offices in 16 regions nationwide, providing tailored support for each stage of business growth, from education to funding and market development. As a result, companies led by people with disabilities have generated an annual economic impact of 69 trillion won in sales and created 540,000 jobs.
Deputy Director Kim contributed to the stable implementation of policies supporting companies led by people with disabilities through key achievements, including: establishing startup incubation offices in four regions; securing new budgets for technology certification (250 million won) and export support (240 million won) projects; introducing preferential interest rates and credit limits for support funds; and providing startup rental deposit assistance to 183 aspiring entrepreneurs with disabilities.
