Police Resume Search and Seizure at Coupang Over Personal Information Leak Scandal
The police are continuing their compulsory investigation into Coupang, which has been at the center of a massive personal information leak.
The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that at around 9:30 a.m. on December 15, eleven investigators resumed the search and seizure operation at Coupang's headquarters office in Songpa District.
The police have been conducting the search and seizure since December 9. Due to the vast amount of digital data held by Coupang, it appears that securing all the necessary materials is taking considerable time.
