Busan Office of Education to Conduct Child Abuse Prevention Training for 1,000 Kindergarten Teachers
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct a real-time online child abuse prevention training session on December 16 for 1,000 teachers from public and private kindergartens in the region.
This training is designed to raise awareness about child abuse prevention in kindergarten education settings and to strengthen child-centered educational practices. The session will be conducted in real time using the Zoom video conferencing platform.
The training focuses on institutional responsibilities for preventing child abuse and on enhancing educational competencies based on empathy and respect. Kim Mijeong, vice principal of Nammyeong Kindergarten, will deliver a lecture on "Respect and Consideration in Daily Education for Child Abuse Prevention."
The lecture will cover practical strategies for preventing child abuse that can be immediately applied in the field, including methods for building positive relationships and emotional coaching between teachers and young children, as well as establishing trust with parents.
