Streamlined Entry Screening with Integration of Quarantine Information System and Naver Entry Pass
Automatic Personal Information Integration
Only Countries Visited and Health Status Required
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) and Naver have launched a new "Naver Pre-Entry Quarantine Information Service" starting December 15, which links the Q-CODE (Quarantine Information Advance Input System) with the Naver Entry Pass.
In accordance with the Quarantine Act, the KDCA designates regions with a risk of infectious diseases entering the country as quarantine management areas. Travelers who have visited these areas are required to submit a health declaration form upon entry, providing personal information, the countries visited, and details regarding any symptoms.
Q-CODE is a system that allows international arrivals to pre-enter their health declaration information via mobile, receive a QR code, and undergo expedited quarantine screening upon entry. By using the Naver Q-CODE integration service, Naver member information is automatically linked, allowing users to skip six of the eleven personal information fields previously required for Q-CODE. Only five fields need to be entered: means of transportation, final country of departure, scheduled date of arrival in Korea, countries visited, and symptoms (health status information).
This service can be accessed by searching for "Naver Pre-Entry Quarantine Information" on Naver or directly through the Naver app menu. A link to the service is also available on the existing Q-CODE website operated by the KDCA.
Jang Junki, Vice President of Naver, stated, "By integrating Q-CODE with the Naver Entry Pass, we are introducing a service that helps prevent the inflow of infectious diseases and enables users to enter the country quickly and conveniently. We will continue to work closely with the KDCA to enhance the service as a national platform."

Im Seungkwan, Commissioner of the KDCA, said, "The integration with Naver will make it easier and faster for international arrivals to use Q-CODE, thereby improving the efficiency of quarantine procedures at the entry stage and helping reduce the risk of infectious diseases entering the country. We will continue to strengthen quarantine and infectious disease response services through public-private cooperation to enhance public safety and convenience."
