On December 11, Jung Jongdeuk, Head of the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, led a winter cold wave prevention campaign for cold-related illnesses at Busan City Hall Square and nearby subway stations to mark 'Safe Workplace Creation Day.'

View original imageThis campaign was jointly organized by the Regional Safety Culture Promotion Group, which includes the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Busan City Hall, and Busan National University Hospital.
The participating organizations promoted the five basic guidelines for coping with cold waves (▲wearing warm clothing ▲securing a warm shelter (rest area) ▲drinking warm water ▲adjusting working hours ▲calling 119), distributed safety supplies for cold waves, and actively raised awareness about the importance of preventing cold-related illnesses.
