Police Conduct Third Day of Search and Seizure at Coupang Over Massive Personal Information Leak
Intensive 10-Hour Search and Seizure Operations Continue Daily
The police have been conducting a search and seizure operation at Coupang, which caused a massive personal information leak, for the third consecutive day.
The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it suspended the search and seizure at Coupang's headquarters office in Songpa-gu, Seoul, at around 8 p.m. on December 11. The operation began at approximately 9:40 a.m. and continued for about 10 hours.

Based on the materials obtained, the police plan to track the whereabouts of a former employee of Chinese nationality suspected of leaking personal information, while also examining technical vulnerabilities in Coupang's internal management system.
