Now in its 24th session, the "Symbios Book Club" is a program where students voluntarily form teams to read and discuss selected books over eight weeks. Through this, students learned the values of symbiosis and collaboration and developed self-directed learning skills. This semester, a comprehensive evaluation of operation reports and activity results led to the selection of seven teams, including the "Doridori Paengdori Team" (Yeonju Jang and three others) winning the Grand Prize, and the "Chaektamgudae Team" (Yebin Park and two others) and the "Heogeodeong Team" (Yoonseo Choi and three others) receiving Excellence Awards.
The "2025 Symbios Reading Golden Bell" is a competition aimed at cultivating humanities literacy by deeply reading essential classics for university students. This year's competition designated Jin Jungkwon's "Aesthetics Odyssey" as the required book and was conducted in preliminary, main, and final rounds. After fierce competition, Heewon Seo (School of Media) won the Grand Prize, while Sohyun Park (College of Natural Sciences) and Jooa Cho (School of Medicine) received Excellence Awards.
