5th UNICEF Supporters Festival to Be Held for Three Days Starting on the 19th
The Korean Committee for UNICEF (Chairman Chung Kap-young) announced on December 11 that it will host the 5th UNICEF Supporters Festival over three days from December 19 to 21 at its headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The main stage will feature special programs with singer Bada, YouTuber Park Wi from the YouTube channel "Wiracle," and Professor Woo Changyun from "Doctor Friends." Singer Bada will present a performance filled with warm songs and messages of hope to celebrate the year-end. YouTuber Park Wi will share his experiences and discuss the value of giving and courage. Professor Woo Changyun is scheduled to hold a talk concert on the topic of healthy living and mental well-being.
Various programs for families to enjoy together during the year-end season will also be offered. Visitors can participate in the UNICEF Children's Experience Center tour, children's musicals, mascot puppet shows, and magic shows by making advance reservations. On-site registration will be available for family-oriented activities such as glove-making classes, Christmas wreath-making, and the UNICEF Mission Stamp Tour. In addition, the UNICEF Supporters Choir, composed of UNICEF Korea supporters, will perform to further enhance the warm year-end atmosphere.
Nongshim, a company that shares the festival's purpose, will also participate as a sponsor. Based on its social contribution philosophy of "Making Life More Enjoyable," Nongshim will provide snack packages consisting of cookies and bottled water to visitors attending the festival.
Programs can be attended in person, while some events such as the "UNICEF Children's Experience Center," the "Hope Stage with Bada," and Choi Minjun's lecture "Education That Lights Up Children's Lives" require advance reservations. Detailed program information and reservations are available on the Korean Committee for UNICEF website, and a variety of souvenirs will be provided to visitors.
