The evaluation was conducted for 225 childcare service providers nationwide, based on four areas and twelve indicators: service performance, achievements, recruitment of childcare workers, and institutional management.
As a result, Yangju City was included among the 16 institutions rated A out of 56 institutions classified as rural-urban areas, and achieved the distinction of being selected as an excellent institution.
Lee Changsu, Head of the Family and Children Division, said, "I would like to thank the Yangju City Family Center and the childcare workers who have worked hard to ensure the smooth operation of the childcare support program. We will continue to do our best to make Yangju City a 'child-friendly city' with no gaps in childcare."
Lee Eunsun, Director of the Yangju City Family Center, also stated, "I am grateful for the dedication of our childcare workers, and we will continue to communicate and provide support to create an environment where both parents and children are satisfied."
The "Childcare Service" is a government policy program in which childcare workers visit homes with children under the age of 12, where there is a childcare gap due to both parents working or similar circumstances, to provide one-on-one care services.
