Yangyang to Host 'Winter Delicacies Galore' Doromuk Festival at Mulchi Port from December 12 to 14
A Winter Port Festival Filled with Flavors, Attractions, and Hands-On Experiences
The 15th Yangyang Mulchi Port Doromuk Festival will be held over three days from December 12 to 14, 2025, in the area around Yangyang Mulchi Port.
The Mulchiri Fishing Village Association has hosted the festival annually since 2009 to widely promote the excellent taste of doromuk, a representative winter fish of the East Sea, and to develop Mulchi Port into a tourist fishing port.
This year marks the 15th edition of the event, which will once again offer a variety of attractions and activities for visitors to enjoy.
During the festival, there will be programs that allow visitors to participate directly, such as an impromptu singing contest, celebratory performances, and a hands-on doromuk catching experience. In addition, a gourmet event will be held where visitors can savor winter delicacies such as grilled doromuk, braised doromuk, and doromuk stew.
