This year, applications for support were accepted from social welfare facilities nationwide through Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, and 15 organizations were selected through a review process.
The selected organizations will each receive one Hyundai Staria van. The vehicles are tailored to user needs, including tourer, kinder, and wheelchair lift-converted models. The company will also cover acquisition and registration taxes, delivery fees, and exterior wrapping costs required for vehicle handover.
Hankook & Company Group is carrying out a variety of social contribution activities based on its integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) brand, 'Driving Forward, Together,' which reflects the management philosophy of Chairman Cho Hyunbum. In the first half of this year, the company newly launched the 'Vehicle Sharing 2.0' program, which supports the self-reliance of marginalized groups in connection with a vehicle-sharing platform.
