On December 11, Geumcheon District announced that it had received this award for its "Home Boundary Information Verification System Utilizing AI Technology" project at the 21st Local Government Policy Research Presentation Contest, organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

This system is a service that allows users to view boundary information-previously scattered across land registers, cadastral maps, and surveying records-on a single screen. Users can check boundaries on the map and, with a single click, access information such as land category, area, reasons for land changes, and officially assessed land value. The system also displays past surveying records in chronological order, and by scanning a building number plate QR code, boundary information can be instantly verified on site.

For this project, district officials directly conducted policy research and developed the system themselves, covering more than 19,000 parcels within the district without any additional budget. This approach was highly praised. The district also received an Excellence Award at the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Data Analysis and Utilization Best Practice Contest for the same project.

Yoo Seonghun, Mayor of Geumcheon District, stated, "This case, which simultaneously enhanced administrative efficiency and resident convenience through AI technology, has been highly regarded both internally and externally. Moving forward, we will continue to advance smart real estate administration based on data and artificial intelligence, consistently delivering tangible results that can be felt in the field."
