Mr. A dried the harvested marijuana and handed over some of it to Mr. B for sale. On October 28, the police secured actual marijuana through a sample transaction with Mr. B and launched an investigation. Approximately 1.7 kilograms of marijuana were found in Mr. B's vehicle, and he was arrested on the spot in a parking lot.
The police additionally seized about 4.6 kilograms of marijuana from Mr. A's vehicle and residence. The total amount of marijuana seized was 6.3 kilograms, with an estimated street value of about 945 million won. It was also revealed that some of the cultivated marijuana was consumed directly by the suspects.
