High Engagement in Major Experience Programs and "Major Talk" Sessions

After an orientation, participants attended a university introduction and a special lecture by a distinguished guest, gaining a broad understanding of Gyeongnam Information University's educational environment and approach to nurturing talent.
Next, participants joined department-specific programs, where they toured specialized facilities, took part in hands-on practice sessions, and received in-depth introductions to each major, all guided by faculty members and current students. During lunch, a "Major Talk" session was held, allowing prospective freshmen to freely ask questions about academic content and career paths, thereby deepening their understanding of each major.
Throughout the venue, performances by music and dance clubs, photo zones, and social media certification events created a lively atmosphere, while various prize giveaways were also very popular.
Kim Hyogeon, Director of Admissions, said, "This invitation event was designed to help prospective freshmen experience university life in advance and gain confidence in choosing their majors," adding, "We will continue to expand tailored admissions support programs to provide new students with all the information they need."
