For this initiative, Jeongeup Senior Club allocated 28.88 million won from institutional sponsorship funds to prepare heated mats and kimchi. In addition, cervical pillows were donated by I2L Co., Ltd., resulting in a generous gift set consisting of three items.
Recipients were selected from among participants in the club's senior employment programs, prioritizing households facing financial hardship. After recommendations from each project team, a fair screening process was conducted, and the final 100 households were chosen. To ensure convenience for the seniors, the items were delivered directly to their homes or shipped via courier.
One senior who received support said, "I am already grateful for the opportunity to participate in social activities through the senior employment program, but receiving these carefully selected winter essentials has been an even greater help," expressing deep appreciation.
Director Park Hwansu commented, "I am very pleased that we were able to provide practical help to 100 households this year with love and care. Going forward, Jeongeup Senior Club will not only continue to offer quality senior employment opportunities but will also do its utmost to be a reliable institution that ensures participating seniors can lead healthy and happy lives."
Meanwhile, Jeongeup Senior Club is also focusing on job creation to help local seniors enjoy an active retirement. This year, it operated 31 project teams and provided jobs for 2,668 people, and plans to further expand its scale next year.
