Saipan Route Reopens... Air Busan Resumes Irregular Busan-Saipan Flights for Winter Vacation Season
Exclusive Twice-Weekly Service from January to February Next Year
"Meeting the Demand for Family Travel"
Air Busan, led by CEO Jung Byungsub, will resume irregular flights on the Busan-Saipan route in response to the growing demand for winter vacations.
On December 10, Air Busan announced that it will exclusively operate irregular flights between Busan and Saipan twice a week-every Wednesday and Saturday-from January 7 to February 28 next year.
On Wednesdays, the flight will depart from Gimhae International Airport at 10:05 p.m. and arrive at Saipan Airport at 3:05 a.m. the following day. The return flight will depart from Saipan at 4:00 a.m. local time and arrive at Gimhae Airport at 6:55 a.m. the same day.
Tickets can be booked through the Air Busan website and mobile app or web. Reservations are also available at five designated travel agencies: Hana Tour, Mode Tour, Yellow Balloon, Very Good Tour, and Tour Phone.
Saipan is a popular resort destination known for its year-round mild climate and emerald beaches. It is especially favored by families due to its relatively short flight time and well-equipped resort facilities. Previously, Air Busan contributed to the recovery of international flights at Gimhae Airport by operating irregular flights on this route for about nine months from January 2022, under the travel bubble agreement during the COVID-19 pandemic.
