BNK Financial Group Launches 'Future Digital Strategy Research Organization' to Promote AI and Digitalization in Response to Government Policies
Research Organization Comprised of External Experts Launched
in Response to Digitalization Policies
BNK Financial Group (Chairman Bin Daein) has launched the 'Future Digital Strategy Research Organization' to promote AI and digitalization.
BNK Financial Group announced on December 8 that, following the launch of the 'Maritime Finance Future Strategy Think Lab' on November 3 in response to the government's three major financial policies, it is now establishing the 'Future Digital Strategy Research Organization' composed of external experts from industry, academia, and government. This move is in line with the government's policies to promote AI and digitalization.
With the launch of this research organization, BNK Financial Group aims to proactively respond to future AI and digital policies, serve as a control tower for the group's AI and digital sectors, and discover new business models to further strengthen its digital competitiveness.
This research organization will operate with two divisions: the AI Strategy Division and the Digital Asset Strategy Division. It will focus on improving efficiency through generative AI and researching business models related to payment settlements and stablecoins.
The Future Digital Strategy Research Organization will be comprised of research and advisory members, including external experts from companies, academia, and local governments in the fields of AI, digital assets, and law, as well as BNK Financial Group's working-level staff. The organization will operate until the end of March 2026, carrying out in-depth research.
