Going forward, the Hallym Edutech Council will jointly develop and operate AI-based educational technologies. Hallym University has continuously driven proactive educational innovation in response to the era of AI transformation. The university institutionalized mandatory double majors to foster interdisciplinary talent and, following the requirement of software education, recently made AI education compulsory for all students.

Notably, the university has realized "education that cultivates critical thinking" through its self-developed AI courseware. The "AI Linear Algebra Tutor," a flagship achievement, has been adopted in five countries including Germany, demonstrating the excellence of K-Edutech. In addition, the AI education innovation platform exclusively for medical students has received strong support in actual medical education settings, and over the past two years, more than 450 courses have utilized AI teaching assistants and tutors, dramatically improving learning outcomes.

President Choi Yanghee of Hallym University stated, "The development and application of edutech technologies in higher education is an essential investment for nurturing talent at the national level. Through the launch of this council, Hallym University will strongly support South Korea in leading the global edutech sector."

Meanwhile, Hallym University is solidifying its position as a "global hub of educational innovation" by leading the development, certification, and dissemination of AI education services through KELI, an AI education consortium uniting universities and industry.
