Huons Group has been recognized for its efforts to actively expand overseas markets and increase exports.
Huons Group announced on December 8 that at the recent 62nd Trade Day ceremony, Huons Biopharma, Huons N, and PanGen each received the 'Export Tower' award.
The Trade Day awards ceremony is an event hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Each year, companies that have contributed to pioneering overseas markets and expanding exports are selected and honored. At the ceremony, Huons Biopharma received the 'Seven Million Dollar Export Tower', while Huons N and PanGen were awarded the 'Five Million Dollar Export Tower' and 'Three Million Dollar Export Tower', respectively.
Huons Biopharma was recognized for its achievements in leading the globalization of Korean pharmaceuticals by registering its botulinum toxin product 'HUTOX®' with health authorities in 15 countries, including Thailand, Iraq, and Colombia. Over the past year, Huons Biopharma achieved export sales of approximately 9 million US dollars (about 13.2 billion KRW).
Huons N is expanding its influence in the global health functional food and health food markets, focusing on Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM). Based on this, the company plans to respond stably to the rapidly growing global export volume.
PanGen achieved exports of 3 million US dollars with its erythropoietin (EPO) biosimilar product and received the Export Tower award. PanGen currently exports EPO pharmaceuticals to five countries: Malaysia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, T?rkiye, and Thailand. The company plans to further expand its export destinations to the Middle East and Africa and increase its sales volume.
