Gijang-eup in Gijang County Launches "Healthy Meal Power" Mixed Grains Support Program for Vulnerable Groups

Gijang-eup in Gijang County, Busan (Chief Kim Myungi), together with the Gijang-eup Community Social Security Council (Chairman Kwon Myoyeon) and the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Sangwook), is launching the “Healthy Meal Power” program to support food security for vulnerable groups.

View original image“Healthy Meal Power” is part of the ongoing social contribution activities of the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters. With a donation of 4 million won, the program will provide mixed grains to 91 households in need.
On December 2, a delivery ceremony was held at the Gijang-eup Administrative Welfare Center, marking the official start of the support initiative.
Going forward, council members plan to visit at-risk households in person to deliver the grains, check on their well-being through home visits, and work to address gaps in the local welfare system.
A representative from the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Headquarters said, “We are pleased to be able to support the local community in any way we can,” adding, “We will continue to engage in sharing activities for the benefit of local residents in the future.”
