Jeonbuk Province Holds 'Youth Counselors Conference' to Share Program Achievements
150 Counselors from Provincial and Municipal Counseling and Welfare Centers Attend
On December 5, Jeonbuk Province held the '2025 Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Youth Counselors Conference' at the Grand Hillston Hotel in Jeonju, sharing the achievements of counseling and welfare programs carried out over the past year.
According to the province, this event, organized by the Jeonbuk Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, was held to recognize the dedication of those who have contributed to the development of youth counseling and welfare services and to strengthen solidarity among counselors.
The conference was divided into two sessions and was attended by about 150 staff members from youth counseling and welfare centers and out-of-school youth support centers across the province.
The first session featured an awards ceremony for distinguished contributors and a report on the main achievements of youth counseling and welfare centers and out-of-school youth support centers in 2025. The second session included a congratulatory performance and a counselor burnout prevention program, providing counselors with an opportunity for psychological rejuvenation.
Kim Kwan-young, Governor of Jeonbuk Province, expressed his gratitude in a video message, stating, "I deeply appreciate all the counselors who care for the hearts of young people and help them rise again from crises. Jeonbuk Province will continue to support the enhancement of counselors' expertise and the creation of a stable counseling environment."
